Program Overview
This program will be a long hike, both mentally and physically, towards understanding and delving into the concept of freedom, seeking to understand its meaning and impact on individuals, communities and the environment.
Consistent with all our programs, we seek to learn from and engage with the Bedouin community in St. Catherine. We see the bedouins as a people who are still rooted in their traditions and ancestral wisdom. Our intention is not to idealize their practices, but rather to witness, learn from, and gain exposure to this rich source of knowledge.
Our programs are enriched by a comprehensive reading program and an engaging physical curriculum. The reading program features works by Western, Eastern, and Arab authors, while the physical curriculum includes traditional practices such as Chinese Qigong and Bedouin Hiking.
Orientation
In the orientation days we introduce you to Nour, St. Catherine, our education pedagogy, and the tools and structures we use in our day to day learning.
Engagement
These days are geared towards meaningful engagement with the topic of freedom.
Reflection
In the final days, you are given ample time and channels to reflect on your learning journey, and are expected to present and share your learning with your peers.

We start our day at 7 am with a qigong practice then we have our morning check-in followed by breakfast. Every day we engage mentally; through readings, discussions and reflections, physically; through short and long hikes and daily movement routine and socially; through various workshops with the Bedouins.
